ABSTRACT
The control circuit which enables the amplifier gain to be automatically adjusted with signal strength is referred to as Automatic Gain Control (AGC). It can keep the output signal amplitude constant or change it within a small range when the input signal amplitude varies greatly. This is not because the input signal is too small to work properly, or because the input signal is too large to make the receiver saturation or blockage (Moller et al., 1994).
