ABSTRACT

Anamplifier is needed in almost all electronic systems. Its theories and design methodologies have been well developed. However, they have to keep upwith the fast advances in present-day technologies. As the channel lengths and supply voltages are further scaling down, single-stage amplifiers based on cascoding transistors are no longer possible. Instead, multistage amplifiers have come into use for low supply voltages. They will prevail especially when high dc gain is compulsory for high-precision purposes (Abou-Allam&El-Masry 1997, Haga et al. 2005,Yu & Mao 2013).
