ABSTRACT
Today cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, over all socioeconomic classes. The increase in the rate of cancer around the world is over 10 million cancer cases among which 6 million deaths occurring a year globally. Of which 40 lakh new diagnosed cases and 2 lakh reported deaths are in India alone. It is evident that many cancer patients use alternative treatment to the conventional medical care as an adjuvant line of treatment due to the nature and prognosis of the disease.
