ABSTRACT

The article describes the results of the verification procedures and quality of selected Electro-Optical Rangefinders (EOR). The results of the verification of electro-optical rangefinders that are part of the Universal Measuring Stations (UMS) Leica TS30 and Trimble S8 are presented. The contribution also deals with the possibilities of using the geodetic (longitude) baselines of some European states for the verification and control of EOR. The main part of the contribution is devoted to the principle and procedure of EOR control according to the standard STN ISO 171230-4: 2013. Presented are methods of verification and calculation of the estimated parameters of the 1st and 2nd order for these range-finders. This part is followed by the implementation of test measurements of selected EOR.
