ABSTRACT

Each mine work in the Czech Republic must have its own mine surveying documentation. Since the Josef Gallery now does not have the main mining surveyor and the original documentation of mine operation is incomplete and outdated, the Department of Special Geodesy has undertaken to create its new mapping documentation for the needs of the mine. This paper describes measuring of the accessible parts of the Celina - east area and creation of their mine mapping documentation. The peculiarity of this part is a huge cavern, which passes through all floors of mine and which is not drawn on any map. The measurement was carried out by the laser scanning method. As a result of the mapping of the accessible part of the Celina - east area, Josef Gallery is a 3D model in the point cloud form, digital map documentation in 3D and 2D and a printed basic mining plan.
