ABSTRACT

Geodetic diagnostics of railway line belongs to the absolute diagnostics methods, which bring directional, longitudinal and height characteristics of an observed railway object. Modern automatized robotic techniques enable using continual measurements, which causes changing the methodology of data evaluation. The focus of the paper is directed on the analysis of accuracy of continual deformation observations of railway line, which comprises a comparison of numerical methods intent on 2D and 3D modelling of an observed railway line.
