ABSTRACT

Building Information Modelling (BIM) process is always considered a collaborative method to exchange information between all the actors of building Industry. As this method is based on 3D parametric models, different strategies are available to develop graphical databases and manage information during the operational step. In these terms, collaboration between the involved actors of the building process is one of the main focuses of this research that analyses features that influence data management of a BIM model, testing its flexibility in term of data exchange between actors and tools.
