ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the bioavailability and body burden of permethrin for a soldier wearing permethrin impregnated uniform and access to a spray can of permethrin. Historically, disease bearing insects have spread illness and death to military personnel. Starting with DDT, insecticides have been used to control the situation. The safety of insecticide use to the soldier is of most importance.
