ABSTRACT

The worldwide web (WWW or web) is a loosely organized distributed information base, shared by a rapidly growing number of Internet sites. The web provides an incredibly rich base of information organized as hypertext files. It has become a major information resource in people’s daily life. The most recent US Government survey indicated that 36.2% of American people used the Internet to search for product and service information, and another 33.3% of the population searched for news, weather, and sports information online.
