ABSTRACT
Response surface methodology (RSM) is a set of sequential experimental design and analysis procedures designed to build empirical models and define optimal performance in a complex data space defined by several factors that affect performance outcome. Box and Draper (1987) as well as Myers and Montgomery (2002) provide integrated treatments of various design and analysis procedures appropriate for RSM investigations.
