ABSTRACT
The potent combination of 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the significant driving forces to accelerate innovation in technological development and enable new disruptive digital services. The vast amount of digital data collected by IoT machines, devices, and sensors can now be efficiently analyzed and contextualized using AI. This enables significant improvement in both decision making and the provision for personalized user experiences. More productive interaction between humans and machines can be accomplished using ultrafast and ultra-low-latency connectivity 5G networks. This will enable a new era of transformational capabilities in virtually every industrial sector and eventually transform our society and our way of life.
