ABSTRACT
Cybersecurity is an undeniable issue in today’s age. There is a plethora of ongoing research and development on securing cyber space. However, the roots of all these efforts are lying in the effective management. Existing project management techniques are designed and developed without paying any attention to the cybersecurity strategy. Therefore, the cyber criminals are being allured to create disruption in the mission critical projects i.e., healthcare, finance, etc. Since everything around us ispart of the Internet now, the communication, meeting, important documents, financial transactions, etc. are also part of the networked environment which is vulnerable tohackers. In this context, we are interested to explore the cyber governance, strategies, and policies available for benefit management of any project and propose a new framework for organizations undertaking any project. This chapter will serve as a reference for both academicians and industry experts who are closely working in the project management domain; it can also be a reference text for graduate students.
