ABSTRACT

This paper presents results of a study for new way of drill bit working, based on the transformation of drill bit body rotational moment into impact moment in different planes. Due to this forces transformation compared with tricone drill bit of the same diameter was achieved increase in the drilling rate by 1.9 times and reduction in the level of vibrations by five times with almost the same operational parameters. Method of drilling obtained in the study is recommended for small diameter boreholes drilling.
