ABSTRACT
Authors have estimated geometrical characteristics of stabilizing constructions of the cutting – shearing type drill bits. Multiple experiments regarding optimal hydraulic construction of the drill bits’ shafts for most effective water filtering ability were made, with calculations and equations being present. The usage of the offered construction will help effective whole drilling, increase drill bit’s efficiency with upgraded purification system and bit’s cooling, increase stability, durability, drilling efficiency; it will help to achieve high cutting speed in medium and upper medium hardness rock and in abrasive rock.
