ABSTRACT
The current status of processing copper ores containing high concentration of arsenic and antimony for South Ural industry area was considered. Mining and industrial complexes with challenging operating conditions were identified by key figures. Based on current technological processes, problematic factors and its influence on finished product were determined. Leaching of concentrates’ samples containing approximately 3.2% As and 19.2% Cu was studied in alkaline sulfide solutions containing sodium hydroxide and sodium sulfide.
