ABSTRACT
Russia’s Unified Electric Power System (UEPS) is a complex managerial and engineering facility managed hierarchically, which provides balance between generation, network distribution and consumption in a territorial section for ensuring energy security of regions. This enables the exchange of streams of power and energy in normal and emergency operation to increase energy efficiency.
