ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews and analyzes trends related to the development and adoption of Digital Therapeutics (DTx). The DTx space has been making great strides and accelerating in recent years. DTx has begun revolutionizing how we treat and manage certain conditions and is poised to do this on a much larger scale. Recent success and advancement suggest that DTx will become seamlessly integrated with most health-related activities over time. In the business world, we refer to investments from a monetary angle, and we expect to see a return on these investments in due course. DTx solutions represent hybrid products of the business-pharma realm, meaning that they strive to achieve the requirements of these two environments in parallel. DTx have made much progress over the past decade, harnessing technology to supplement or potentially replace traditional clinical therapy.
