ABSTRACT
Evaluation of a simple city into Smart City is a challenging task. A sudden change in infrastructure is not possible, but the delay in communication can be resolved easily with sharing of data. Smart City is considered to be highly equipped with devices over the network, which are communicating and processing parallel. Different fields like Health Sector, Traffic, Agriculture, and Industry are becoming better with the help of the Internet of Things. The evolution of cities is not only bringing easiness, but also some challenges with it. In this chapter, we are going to discuss the trends and technologies of Smart City with the basic concepts and challenges.
