ABSTRACT
Erigeron breviscapus (Vant.) Hand.-Mazz. is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, which is mainly distributed in Yunnan Province of China. The dried, whole plant of this herb has many medicinal folkloric uses and good therapeutic effects, especially in the treatment of cerebrovascular disease, coronary heart disease, cerebral embolism, paralysis caused by cerebral vascular accidents, and apoplexy. This chapter describes the chemical constituents and biological activities of E. breviscapus.
