ABSTRACT

The present work refers to the study of the hydrological resources that form part of the Zamora Huayco hydrographic basin, whose water supply downstream becomes an affluent of the Amazon river.

For the El Carmen and San Simón micro-basins, their morphometric and hydrological characteristics are studied to lay the foundations for the contingent valuation of water resources.

This study summarizes the method used for this assessment and the results of the two market studies of the primary beneficiaries of these sources.
