ABSTRACT
The availability of incremental payment in the monthly return is the incremental amount that users – at the date of the analysis – would be willing to pay for the land of the tributary basin to be bought and so that the quality and quantity of water can be improved through the reforestation, protection and maintenance of the area that is the source of water supply through an increase in the monthly payment. The fee for the drinking water service in the city under study is structured according to the amount consumed and the user’s location or area of residence. Establish a municipal policy of openness and involvement in the social organization to participate in municipal decisions on the sustainable development of micro-watersheds. Recommend, under the declaration of “public good,” that the micro-watersheds belong in their entirety to the municipality of the city, with the just and timely economic compensation to the current owners.
