ABSTRACT

From the state of evolution of life, adaptation to the extreme environment has correspondingly aided life on Earth. On a similar note, the expansion of nanotechnology in the production of a wide variety of nanomaterials has equally evolved. Processing of nanomaterials includes domination of extreme conditions of process variables. The behavior of substances and materials under extreme environments influence the formation of nanomaterials’ final product. The influence of microgravity on the formation of nanoparticles and their stability is further found to be profound. This chapter reviews research related to microgravity and its impact on materials.
