ABSTRACT
Management of various diseases and insect pests within the organic cultivation system is a major challenge since the use of any synthetic fungicide or insecticides is prohibited in organic farming, forcing the growers to rely exclusively on biopesticides. Information on the use and application of two of the most common and important biocontrol agents viz. Trichoderma and Pseudomansfluorescens for fungal disease management in various crops have also been presented. The chapter is an attempt to comprehensively present the latest information on the effective management of various fungal diseases under organic farming by natural plant products and biopesticides.
