ABSTRACT
Eulophidae is the largest family of the superfamily Chalcidoidea followed by Encyrtidae and Pteromalidae. The family is found in all geographic regions. Most eulophids are entomophagous, attacking insects and other arthropods such as spiders and mites. Identification, taxonomic significance, the biology of subfamilies of family eulophidae, subfamily wise diagnostic characteristic features have been discussed.
