ABSTRACT
The interest in the use of microbial biopesticides as an alternative to traditional methods in food production has been increased in the past few years. In this chapter, we have brought some compiled information about the use of microbial biopesticides in agriculture, the main modes of action of these biocontrol agents in plant disease suppression, how the market of these biopesticides is currently and what are the main challenges and future directions in the use of microbial pesticides to disease control.
