ABSTRACT
Fungal biocontrol agents are an alternative to control agricultural pests, which require high-quality commercial products. In mass production, quality control is one of the most important parameters in which manufactures should invest due to it guarantees concentration, viability, purity, water content and biological efficacy. This chapter revised some protocols to determine these parameters giving recommendations of its adequate use, especially on Trichoderma spp. A very efficient product in the market will ensure a good performance of the biocontrol agent in the field, gaining trust and acceptance as an alternative in Integrated Pest Management Programs.
