ABSTRACT

The most harmful pest species belong to Lepidoptera, which includes moths and butterflies. The larval phases of moths cause significant harm to a variety of important crops like cotton, tobacco, tomato, corn, sorghum, lucerne, sunflower, beans, and wheat. As of not long ago, an expansive range of toxicant sprays has been the essential control operation for horticultural epidemics, with about 40% focused on the control of lepidopteran insects. Various biotechnological insect pest control methods are made available to combat these issues. These are economically viable and eco-friendly insect pests control approaches.
