ABSTRACT

The emerging Grid technology includes laptops, PDAs, effective sensors and so forth to form a mobile Grid. As the number of mobile Grid users increase, the risk in accessing the Grid increases, consequently. The existing security system of the Grid environment simply focuses on authentication services. The system needs to concentrate on hackers and attackers who distress the communication process. The number of keys employed for n Grid users is n*(n−1). Therefore, a novel technique for minimizing the number of keys and the security system for preventing malicious attackers is crucial. In this chapter, an efficient Group key is designed to provide authentication service and a wormhole resistance system to prevent malicious attackers.
