ABSTRACT
Internet of Things (IoT) has become one of the prudent tools of the twenty-first century. With the advent of escalated improvement in technology and devices based on internet, IoT emerges out to be a leading field in computing as well as in allied aspects. Starting from IoT growth and architecture, this chapter appraises several standards of IoT spanning from routing, network, and session layer protocols, which are responsible for its rapid growth. The chapter also discusses integration management and security protocols. Apart from this, the impending challenges in IoT security are also outlined with the latest developments leading to plausible insights for solution.
