ABSTRACT

This study aimed to analyze aspects of the assessment in the Teaching Field Practice (PPL) program at the Indonesia University of Education (UPI) by reconstructing assessment standards. Assessment for prospective teacher students in the UPI PPL handbook still contains weaknesses in the affective domain or personal social character (dispositions). To produce appropriate and specific PPL UPI assessment indicators, this study focuses on the review of standardized documents for the implementation of teacher education programs. Sources of data were obtained from UPI PPL assessment forms found in the PPL guidebook. This research used a descriptive method with case studies of particular issues in teacher education by analyzing, explaining, evaluating, predicting, conducting research, and developing indicators especially in the application of assessment standards. The results showed that aspects of disposition in the evaluation of educational PPL at UPI can be developed with detailed indicators based on teacher education standards. The disposition aspect developed at UPI consists of leadership, responsibility, emotional stability, communication, discipline, attitude, and manner of dress.
