ABSTRACT

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has influenced the system of education, including vocational high school. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires some skills to be adapted in the educational system, especially in the teaching and learning process. The aim of this article is twofold. First, this articles discusses how a vocational high school can adapt to the current global trend of ESP learning materials to anticipate the constantly changing world and to promote the skills for Industry 4.0. Second, it reviews the best practices to develop ESP learning materials in a vocational high school to promote skills for Industry 4.0. This article highlights the importance of developing ESP learning materials for vocational high school students, enabling them to master both English competency skills and skills for Industry 4.0.
