ABSTRACT

The article reports on preliminary findings based on observations and questionnaires during an ongoing study on the use of MGLab NETLUX as interactive multimedia in a first-year undergraduate listening comprehension course . The findings revealed learners’ levels of interest, attention, motivation, and perception. It may be concluded that the software offers the tools that provide teachers and learners with interactive multimedia that has the potential to increase the levels of interest, attention, and motivation in English as a foreign language learning, especially listening.
