ABSTRACT

The utilization of mobile phone in industry 4.0 era to transfer, download, and deliver multimedia may offer a new exciting tool for pedagogy, especially for teaching writing. This (1) makes both teachers and learners able to find unlimited information, (2) enhances students’ autonomy, and (3) helps the teacher face digital era in English language teaching. This article explores, describes and analyzes the use of mobile phone in context of teaching and learning, especially for the writing skill. The literature shows that some features in mobile phones, including applications and social media can be used by teachers and students to enhance the students’ writing skill.
