Routing and Mobility Models for Ad Hoc UAV Networks

In this chapter, we will introduce the typically used routing protocols and the node mobility models used in general UAV networks. Routing protocols include proactive and reactive categories. Proactive ones try to maintain an always-ready multi-hop end-to-end path; reactive ones just establish a path after a communication request is received. The mobility models should reflect the mission-driven UAV network nature.
