ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will systematically introduce the multi-hop routing issues in 3D UAV networks. We will explain different path establishment methods and the path maintenance schemes when the network topology changes. 3D routing is more challenging than 2D case since we need to consider the (X,Y,Z) space geometry models. We will compare the pros and cons of different 3D routing protocols.
