ABSTRACT
In recent days, there has been huge demand for intelligent system in home automation. These systems allow the users at ease of use of home appliances from anywhere in no time. In this paper, we are presenting an internet of things based smart home security systems. The security is provided to the home by using a smart locking mechanism. Whenever the user/guest enters the password with digital lock the face of the user/guest is captured and sent as a message to the owner of the house. If three continuous wrong attempts were made then user is intimated as intruder detected. The owner will allow or not allow the user/guest to access the home based on the data received.
