ABSTRACT
Integration of the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has paved the way for global intelligent connectivity that can change how people live and work. Among the buzzwords are intelligence and security. In this chapter, a novel integration framework is proposed that offers more flexibility and adaptability to deal with the enormous volume of information available online nowadays. The functional and non-functional design properties of this framework are discussed. A comprehensive review of the main properties of security and intelligence is reported, with ideas for possible future research directions.
