ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explores novel techniques and methodologies in the domain of content-based image classification and deep learning/machine learning techniques to design efficient computer aided diagnosis architecture. It describes new challenges and probable solutions in the domain of computer aided diagnosis to leverage a sustainable ecology. The book explains the importance of computer aided diagnosis in the present context, particularly its role in assisting early and faster detection of life-threatening diseases by minimizing the wait time for the arrival of a domain specialist to identify a particular disease. It focuses on the future perspectives of computer aided diagnosis techniques for setting up a foundation for the public health sector with its assorted applications.
