ABSTRACT

The concept of the Internet of Energy is derived from the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT), which uses the Internet to access and connect appliances. Energy consumption in heating, ventilation and air conditioning typically accounts for half of energy consumption in buildings. Wireless Home Automation System involves communications, control, and information processing across various systems all done over the internet using IoT. The current prototype has some limitations which are now in the modification stage and are being worked upon for the development of the system. The system facing the issue of high latency in HTTP requests and responses can be resolved by developing more efficient APIs. The system can be made compatible with more electrical appliances unlike the prototype currently compatible only with light appliances. The application of the system can be made available for both iOS and Android platforms with complete integration of all modules with higher efficiency.
