ABSTRACT

Modern developments in renewable energy systems, power control systems, telecommunication tools, storage techniques and tools, information systems, cyber security and Internet of Things (IoT) have led to the initiation of advance concept of IoE. The applications of IoE can transform the conventional cities into smart cites and conventional buildings into smart buildings, which are ecologically and financially feasible throughout the use of smart energy systems and technologies. A reliable IoE based energy management system can focus for the end user's attention, accordingly, can make sure the accomplishment of the sustainable development objective. The costs of IoE based energy management system of smart city consist of the costs of energy, operations, smart appliances, materials of energy storage system, building or reconstruction costs, along with the technological and maintenance costs. Weather and geological location are the most susceptible challenge into the IoE based energy management system of smart cities.
