ABSTRACT

Big data refers to large databases that are obtained from a number of data foundations for commercial requirements to disclose a new vision of automated decision-making. The integrated plug-in electric vehicle using the advanced technology of a converter, a battery, and an electric drive system is an example of the transformation of automobile systems and a step towards a pollution-free existence. The application of broad data analysis-based decision-making and control in the electric vehicle is primarily concerned with three aspects: data stream side management of the electric vehicle, storage side management, and load side management of the electric vehicle. The goal of this chapter is to present a web-based technical platform for the management of large quantities, variety, and speed of plug-in electrical vehicle-related information through major data tools such as Hadoop to support the assessment of plug-in electrical vehicles. The framework involves device design, storage, management, monitoring and forecasting on the basis of the large amount of data needed to test the electrical vehicle plug by means of a large data analysis. This chapter also includes application of the MapReduce algorithm for electric vehicles.
