ABSTRACT

Routing is a key to exchange of the messages between the IoT-enabled devices. For routing to be effective and efficient, the message needs to be delivered quickly between nodes in IoT-enabled network either using point-to-point contact or using cloud-based web services, if the nodes are located remotely. As is well known, just like in wired network, routing is the critical aspect in wireless networks too. However, routing in wireless network is much more difficult as it requires close cooperation and coordination between various mobile nodes in network, so detecting an optimized and efficient routing path between source and destination through a series of mobile intermediate nodes is a challenge. In the proposed research work, an effort has been made to demonstrate the effective routing between nodes in an IoT-driven wireless network on the real-time test beds of SENSEnuts nodes introduced by Eigen Technologies, and the results have been positive and encouraging.
