ABSTRACT

By using a conductometric technique, diffusion coefficients have been measured for potassium thiocyanate in aqueous solutions of different concentrations at 25 °C in a dark chamber. These data are compared with the data obtained in the presence of sunlight using the same technique and with the data obtained from another research group.

These data are of enormous importance in many applied areas, such as corrosion studies in the oral cavity of humans, helping to better understand the complex structure of these systems.
