ABSTRACT
In recent times, environmental and climate problems are one of the daunting issues across the world. Economic development without considering the environmental concerns causes the depletion of natural resources particularly water resources and air. This results in extensive ecological, financial, and social impairment on a global level. Therefore, it is very essential to enhance the usage of renewable resources and reduce the usage of nonrenewable resources to protect the environment for future generations. This reiterates the need to develop green technologies, which are required to achieve economic development without harming the environment. In this chapter, we discussed the synthesis of renewable and sustainable materials by different methods and their application in the development of green technology.
