ABSTRACT

Soilis the most importantre source on the earth, as well as a good environment filter. This is due to the fact that soil bears most minerals, which are required for plant growth and soil quality. Microorganisms are the functional key because they play an important role in the balance of the ecosystem. Different types of microbesplaya significan trole in the soil for managing both macronutrients and micronutrients for the plant. Soil microbes help to improve the soil quality and maintain the soil profile, texture, and structure. The present chapter discusses the soil microbes’ ability to recover the soil quality and the irrole in the maintenance of the ecosystembalance through the nutrient cycle.
