Several factors that lead to the diseased condition include constipation or diarrhea, lack of exercise, low fiber diets, increased intra-abdominal pressure, genetics, aging. Management of pain, inflammation, bleeding is a goal of treatment in hemorrhoids. The present chapter gives information about the pathophysiology and detailed review of treatment using herbal formulation and reveals their different pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-oxidant, anti-microbial, immunosuppressant, and laxative properties.
