ABSTRACT
Application of product data technology (PDT) is a key enabler for cooperative work. However, in order to make efficient use of PDT, a data management environment offering adequate support for cooperative work is needed. The presented research focuses on a set of reusable product data management services for model-based cooperation that can be used in a Web-based environment following the Service Oriented Architecture approach. The paper outlines a generalised cooperation scenario for building design, presents the essence of each developed service, explains how services can be deployed as independently usable Web Services and shows a possibility for their use as extension to current project Web portals.
