ABSTRACT
The elaboration of ontology contributes for the standardization and classification of concepts and terminologies and it has been happening in some sectors, as, for example, in the druggist, the educational and the aeronautical. In the sector of Architecture, Engineering and Construction, the development of ontology aims at the easy understanding of the data and the real use of the existing and available information technologies. In this context, these research aims at defining an ontology in the area of Management of Project Process and presents, as initial results, an ontological representation of the concepts of project process in the constructions, detailing the inception phase. It intends, still, to collaborate in the excellence and productivity of the management of project process and enable the interoperability between all sectors related with the execution of the services.
