ABSTRACT

With the sustaining high-speed development of the world Electronic Commerce, Electronic Commerce has become the booster of the economic globalization. China's entry to the WTO brings China's economy more in line with international practice. As the guider of the business current, the Electronic Commerce is confronted with rare opportunities and severe challenges at the same time.

The process of implementation of Electronic Commerce needs to integrate the four flows: information, fond, trade and logistics, which can achieve circulation of commodities. In real life, with the development of the information technology, the first three ‘flows’ have been integrated by computer and network and communication facilities instantly, but logistics problem can not be solved. The logistics that must be achieved on the network has become one of the crucial issues of the Electronic Commerce, playing the most important role in the whole process of Electronic Commerce and restricting its development.

Under the circumstance of Electronic Commerce, though the characteristics in professional division of logistics work are becoming increasingly obvious, the organization and management of logistics develop to integration continuously and the relation of the pattern and the carrier of the logistics become increasingly close. From China's basic national conditions and current situation, this paper analyses and discusses the opportunity and challenge what the Electronic Commerce is confronted with at the present stage. On this basis, benefiting from experience of the Electronic Commerce logistics situation in developed countries, such as United States and Japan. We advance a few patterns for our Electronic Commerce logistics and analyses and probe into the selection of logistics patterns.
