ABSTRACT
Rural informatization is the important elements of the national economy informatization. As the social changes, the conflict between city and rural areas becomes more and more serious. How to use of the IT to realize rural development is critical to build up our harmonious society. This paper studies the problems of stagewise goals, developmental pattern, organizational framework and so on in rural informatization of China. It summaries the experience of rural informatization in several provinces by main telecommunication corporations. According to the current situation in Chinese rural areas, the paper gives the specific ways in raising rural informatization level.
